Pilgrims urged to emulate Mwalimu Nyerere legacy
Today, a special mass was held at the Catholic Shrine in Namugongo to commemorate Julius Nyerere, former Tanzanian president, who is revered for his commitment to prayer, peace, unity, and even Justice. This mass has been held since 2009 following a request by the Nyerere family. The event featured speeches from prominent leaders, including President Museveni represented by Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja.
