Over 3,000 farmers from northern and eastern Uganda are taking part in an agribusiness expo, with over 45 exhibitors showcasing innovations in agro-inputs, mechanization, post-harvest technologies, crop protection, and crop production.
The Northern Uganda Agribusiness Expo is calling for new measures to boost the agriculture sector through resilience and sustainable practices driven by agribusiness and innovation. The expo aims to address key challenges faced by farmers, including grain quality inconsistencies, poor infrastructure, limited access to agro-financing, and the urgent need for modern post-harvest solutions.
