NDA closes 8 shops in Kyotera over counterfeit veterinary drugs
The National Drug Authority has closed several 8 drug shops for dealing in counterfeit veterinary drugs in Kyotera district. The drugs, worth 40 million shillings, were also confiscated. the operation followed a survey of unlicensed drug shops supervised by unqualified personnel. Dr Benard Sibyomu the senior regulatory officer warned all the drug operatives selling counterfeit drugs that their time was up.
