UTVTU issues 90-day ultimatum for salary boost
Just as concerns of arts teachers await resolution, the Uganda Technical and Vocational Trainers Union (UTVTU) has issued a 90-day ultimatum to the government. The union is demanding salary enhancements to bring the earnings of technical and vocational trainers in disciplines such as fashion and design, agriculture, and shoemaking in line with those of secondary school science teachers.
