NUP seeks to end NRM rule in 2026 election
Members of the National Unity Platform (NUP) vying for the party ticket in various positions believe that the 2026 election should serve as a catalyst to end what they describe as the dictatorial regime of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) government. They plan to achieve this through a protest vote aimed at removing the NRM from Ugandan politics.
