Youth elections in Kampala marred by irregularities
Youth elections in several parts of Kampala have been marred by allegations of widespread malpractice and irregularities. The process has been characterized by counter-accusations, with some candidates reportedly removed from the voters' registers. In other areas, there have been allegations of hired goons disrupting the elections and taking control of polling centres. Our reporter, Juma Kiirya, visited various parts of Kampala to investigate the situation.
