MPs sign motion to oust Commissioners over UGX 1.7B Award
Several Members of Parliament have started appending their signatures to a motion that seeks to remove four backbench commissioners of Parliament who are said to have granted themselves a service award of 1.7 billion shillings. Theodore Ssekikubo, the mover of the motion, is not sure about how many signatures have been collected so far, though he says there is progress. Other MPs are skeptical about appending their signatures to the motion, saying they have to first establish the motive of the movers.
