Government issues new stamps for LC chairpersons
The ministry of Local government on Thursday officially launched stamps to be used by LC I and LC 2 chairpersons across the country for their official duties.
The launch was presided over by the State minister for Local government Jennifer Namiyangu in Soroti City.
While handing over the Computers and stamps to chief administrative officers from Teso and Karamoja regions, the minister cautioned Local Council chairpersons against charging exorbitant amounts of money from people that need their services or making their relatives custodians of the government stamps.
