Cybercrime, weak enforcement hamper anti-corruption efforts
According to officials from the Directorate of Ethics and Integrity, Uganda’s fight against corruption is being undermined by limited resources, weak enforcement mechanisms, and the growing threat of cybercrime. The officials made the remarks during a meeting with leaders from Kassanda, Mubende, Kiboga, Mityana, and Kyankwanzi districts to assess the implementation of the five-year National Anti-Corruption Strategy.
