8 detained in Hoima for encroaching on River Kafu
Police in Hoima have detained eight people on charges of encroaching on River Kafu. They were arrested in a swoop mounted by Hoima district local government and the Deputy Resident District Commissioner Michael Kyakashari, after they were found growing rice and tomatoes on the river bank.
