Ntoroko opens a UGX480m bridge to end flooding
Ntoroko district has formally opened a Shs 480m bridge, built to deal with excessive levels of floodwater, in the area. The Kyobe was built following concerns from low lying residents, who complained about flooding in their area during the rain season. The structure is located in Bwelamule Sub-county in Ntoroko District, and feeds off the overflow from Lake Albert. It is hoped this will help keep roads open, and enable business in the area.
