Total Energies EP Uganda has commissioned a newly constructed solar-powered irrigation system at Ndandamire Primary School in Buliisa District. This initiative is part of three interventions aimed at improving food security and household income among project-affected communities engaged in agriculture. Farmers are being trained in best farming practices at the demonstration farm located at Ndandamire Primary School. According to Daphine Natukunda, Social Package Manager at Total Energies EP Uganda, the main goal of the project is to enhance food security and boost household income in the project area.
