NFA officials open Ibamba forest boundaries

The National Forestry Authority (NFA) has embarked on reopening the boundaries of the Ibamba Central Forest Reserve in Hoima City, covering a total of 313 hectares of land that has been encroached upon by cultivators and illegal settlers.

The Ibamba Central Forest Reserve, which was gazetted in 1948, spans six cells—including Kiryabana, Kicwamba, Bucunga, Buhanika, and Butebere, among others—located in Hoima East City Division, Hoima Oil City.
