Kassiano Wadri wins Arua Municipality MP seat

The jailed Kassiano Wadri (Independent) has been declared winner of the Arua Municipality by-elections with 6,528 votes representing 38% of the vote.
NRM's Nusura Tiperu came second with 4,763 (27%) followed by Robert Ejiku (Independent) with 2,703 (15%). Bruce Musema of the FDC followed with 1,372 (4%).
Kasiano is in prison, along with the four MPs who were arrested on Monday during the chaos that engulfed Arua town.
The chaos left 1 person Yasin Kawuma dead, and over 30 people including MPs were arrested.
The MPs Paul Mwiru, Gerald Karuhanga, Francis Zaake, and Kyagulanyi Robert aka Bobi Wine, were arrested in Arua during Monday's chaos and up to now, no one knows where they are being held.
Some of the MPs will be brought to court on Thursday.
The first deputy Prime Minister and leader of Government business Gen Moses Ali, told Parliament that one of them, Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi was found with a Gun, and will be charged before the Army Court-martial in Gulu.
