Uganda launches committee to boost African trade, create youth jobs

Uganda’s plan to claim a bigger share of Africa’s market has gained momentum with the launch of the National Implementation Committee for the African Continental Free Trade Area. According to the government, it is time to walk the talk—a journey that private sector players say they are willing to undertake alongside policymakers in their pursuit to turn opportunities into jobs for the growing young population.
