Workers compensation act to be amended
The government has began the process of amending the law on workers' compensation in a bid to address the challenges faced by Uganda's labour force across different sectors. The state minister for labour, employment and industrial relations Charles Okello Engola says the proposed reforms arise from the need to address gaps and delays that affect the implementation of the current law.
