CUBS goalkeeping coach says post Onyango era will be fine
Salim Jamal Magoola is widely expected to start between Al Hilal’s sticks during Saturday’s Caf Champions League match in Kitende. The 25-year-old is the heir apparent to Denis Onyango on the international level. Fred Kajoba knows Magoola pretty well as he is the Cranes goalkeeping coach. Tonight, Mubarak Kiberu says that the future of Ugandan goalkeeping will be in safe hands during the post-Onyango era. Kiberu, who is the goalkeeping coach for Uganda’s men under-17 football team, says the continuity in age-grade football is commendable. This as Uganda’s under-17 football team, the Cubs, continues to prepare for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Rwanda.
