OMORO BY-ELECTION: Candidates officially start campaigning
It has been a busy day for the candidates in the race for Omoro County by-election, set up to find a replacement for former MP, Jacob Oulanyah, who died on March 20. Being their first day of the official campaign, the candidates moved from village to village laying their manifestos to the voters. At mid-day, Andrew Ojok Oulanyah was in Odek, Acet and Lalogi sub-county and his emphasis pledges to continue the legacy of his father Late Jacob Oulanyah. However, the opposition has accused NRM and police of sabotaging their campaign programmes. Six candidates are participating in this race.
