NUP demands answers on whereabouts of abducted supporters
The National Unity Platform party has challenged the government to produce some twenty-five people believed to have been abducted between 2019 and 2022. Party leaders claim that most of the missing people are their supporters and they could also be under the watch of security operatives. NUP has now petitioned several authorities, including the Uganda Human Rights Commission, to intervene and push for the release of the missing people.
