Why dozens of incumbent MPs lost in NRM primaries
Actors in the political space and analysts have spoken out on the high attrition rate in the just-concluded NRM primaries. The exercise saw over 10 ministers and several MPs lose their bids for parliamentary seats in the NRM party primaries. The NRM is advising all disgruntled candidates to desist from contesting as independents and instead seek redress through the established election disputes tribunal.
