The Speaker of parliament, Hon Rebecca Kadaga has been hospitalised at Nakasero Hospital. According to a statement from her Press Secretary Sam Obbo, she was admitted yesterday Thursday 21st March.
“She has been hospitalised over a fatigue-related illness,” read a press statement from Sam Obbo.
Earlier in the week the, Speaker Kadaga was on a work tour to Morocco and then the United States of America where she advocated for better policies for women and children around the world.
She was admitted soon after her return from this work tour.
“Due to the hectic work schedule, fatigue and jet lag, she has been admitted in hospital,” read the statement from her Press Secretary.
More reports coming in claims that President Yoweri Museveni managed to break off from his schedule to visit the ailing Speaker.
