Ntoroko leaders launch zero-grazing cattle initiative to boost incomes amid climate challenges
Due to a shortage of arable land and climate challenges in Ntoroko District, area leaders have launched an initiative to supply free improved cattle for zero-grazing, aimed at improving local incomes through milk production. This initiative, led by Western Youth MP Edison Rugumayo, also saw locals appealing to the government for support to help transform livelihoods in Ntoroko. The area is severely impacted by climate change, with many parts prone to flooding during the rainy season and severe droughts in the dry season.
