Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze who was arrested on Monday morning by Police, has been released.
The MP was briefly held at Jinja road police station, before being transferred to Nagalama police station.
She was freed on Police bond,
Nambooze was picked up from her home in Mukono Monday morning, to help police with investigations concerning the death of Arua municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga.
This follows statements she allegedly made on social media which security agencies suspect led to the killing of the legislator on Friday
