Godrey 'Troy' Wamala the man who was arrested for the alleged murder of Ugandan Singer Moses Ssekibogo a.k.a Mowzey Radio has been committed to the High court for trial.

State Attorney Julius Muhiirwe told Entebbe Court Chief Magistrate Susan Okeni that investigations into Troy's case are complete and that he had instructions from the DPP to send him to the trial court because there is evidence placing Troy at the scene of crime.

Mowzey Radio died of head injury at Case Hospital in Kampala on 1st, February 2018, after a brawl at DeBar, a popular hangout in Entebbe Town, on 22nd/January/2018.

The evidence DPP intends to adduce against Troy Wamala shows that on that fateful day the accused was seen with the deceased at the Debar drinking before a scuffle between Mowzey Radio and other people ensued.

Its alleged that Mowzey Radio poured booze on some people, and a one  Pamella plus Ategeka intervened by taking Radio out of the bar.

Troy Wamala reportedly followed them outside, pulled Radio from them, and started beating him, after which he ran and hid in Kyengera until 4th/Feb/this year when he heard about Mowzey Radio's death and handed himself to police.

DPP also intends to use exhibits like Telephone Printouts of calls made before, during and after  Mowzey Radio's death, plus a sketch plan of DeBar where the fight took place on 22nd/January/2018.

Magistrate Okeni, acting on the DPP's directive, sent Troy Wamala back to Luzira Prison until the next convenient session of the High court when his trial can start.

Troy's committal to the trial court was also been triggered by the relatives, friends and family of the late singer who have been demanding for justice to prevail.
