Missing priest found in Soroti, alive

Rev Isaac Mwesigwa, a priest who was allegedly kidnapped has been found alive in Soroti. This has been confirmed by the Police. The Kasaka, Gomba reverend of the Church Of Uganda went missing on Sunday according to relatives.
Reports indicate that Rev Mwesigwa has been found at a friends place in Soroti after 3 days of his family looking for him.
According to authorities, Rev Mwesigwa has been received by the out-going Archbishop of the Church Of Uganda, Rev Stanley Ntagali who is on his pastoral visit in the region. More reports suggest that he will be returning to Kampala with the Archbishop.

The “Kidnap”
Speaking to NTV Uganda, Stanley Sempiira, Rev Mwesigwa’s Uncle, says that the clergyman was on his way to Uganda christian University in Mukono to write an exam on Sunday. The relative says that the reverend was stopped along Sonde- Seeta road.
Sempiira, in his story to NTV Uganda, says that he received a phone call from the reverend in which the clergyman claimed that two men, who were not in Police Uniform but armed, had set up a roadblock infant of him.

“I had him on phone telling these individuals that he will peacefully open his car and that they have no reason to break into it,” Sempiira says.
That was the last Sempiira heard from Rev Mwesigwa.
“We have tried to call him but no one is picking up,” Sempiira says.
The family of Rev Mwesigwa then contacted police which recovered his Raum reg Number UAR 468D along the Namugongo-Seeta road.
