Koboko leaders concerned about rising COVID-19 infections
Koboko district leaders have expressed concern about the growing infection of Covid-19 cases in the area. The call follows the death of an inmate attached at Koboko Government prison this week, which has raised fears among the prisoners and leaders as cases keep raising. Speaking to Dr Denis Oloya, the district Health Officer says the district has screened at least 907 people, of which 148 tested positive for Covid-19, with 120 recoveries and 9 death ever since the second wave was confirmed in the district. Dr Oloya has called for increased vigilance and the observance of standard operating procedures, to end the crisis there.
