Health workers offer tips on preventing diabetes infections
Health workers in Ibanda District are concerned over the increasing number of people suffering from diabetes. The district health officer Julius Bamwine says the prevailing situation is made worse by an insufficient supply of drugs to people suffering from the disease. According to Bamwine, more than 500 new diabetic cases are registered every month in yet the drugs that are sent to the area can only serve 30 percent of the number of patients.
