Frank fell off a speeding car - UPDF spokesperson

The Uganda People’s Defence Forces’ spokesperson , Brig Gen Flavia Byekwaso has stated as false, claims that a military police vehicle hit one of Robert Kyagulanyi’s bodyguards ;eating to his death.


Byekwaso, through social media, says that the late Francis Senteza Kalibala fell of a speeding car, registration number 850Z. 

 

“He tried to jump to [unknown] but fell off,” Brig Gen Byekwaso tweeted.

Earlier on Sunday, news of the death of Francis Senteza Kalibala who is commonly known as Frank came in from Masaka. According to these reports, Frank was hit by a military police truck as the officers on it tried to disperse supporters of National Unity Platform’s (NUP) Presidential flag bearer, Robert Kyagulanyi.

 

After the incident, Kalibala was rushed to hospital where doctors tried to revive him but failed. Frank was reportedly knocked as the Kyagulanyi’s convoy drove journalist Ashraf Kasirye from Masaka to Kampala for further medical attention after he was injured as police dispersed NUP supporters in Masaka.
