Elder Zabron Rushambuza buried in Bushenyi district
The body of lay Canon Zabron Rushambuza, a famous businessman and prominent church leader in Bushenyi has been laid to rest at his home in Ntungamo village. Rushambuza, who was popularly known as Ai Mukama, died from complications from diabetes and high blood pressure, at the age of 93 years. He was eulogized by President Museveni as a great man, counsellor, wonderful citizen, seasoned farmer, entrepreneur and a great patriot. In a message read for him by the minister of general duties, Karooro Okurut, the president said Rushambuza faithfully executed his noble responsibility as a father, who nurtured his children to become responsible citizens. The president added that the late Rushambuza dedicated all his life to the service of his country, which he served with humility.
