Parliamentary aspirants: July 16, 2025
District Chairperson aspirants: July 3, 2025
Justice Byabakama emphasized that even those who contested in the 2021 general elections must resubmit their academic documents for verification through the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), in consultation with the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB).
Resignation Requirements for Public Officers:
Presidential aspirants must resign from public office at least one day before nomination.
Parliamentary aspirants are required to resign 90 days prior to nomination day.
District/City Chairpersons and Lord Mayor aspirants must resign at least 30 days before their nomination date.
