Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has on Thursday, 16th August been charged on accounts of unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition. He has been remanded to Makindye Military prison until 23rd August, 2018.

A statement from the office of the Defense Spokesperson Brig. Richard Karemire confirmed this information after the Kynadondo East MP appeared before the General Court Martial in Gulu.

The statement further points out that Bobi Wine was arrested after he was found in possession of arms and ammunition, a monopoly of the defense forces.
