Archbishop Kazimba celebrates a year at the helm
The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Dr Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, has narrated the devastating impact of the COVID19 pandemic on the Church of Uganda.
Like many institutions, the church’s finances were badly hit forcing it to downsize or even lay off church staff.
Additionally, the church has also lost a number of notable clergy to the disease including Bishop Alfonso Wathokudi who had just been appointed the dean of the Church of Uganda Province.
Archbishop Kaziimba has however reassured Christians that the church is now rallying to fast track its recovery from this impact and also contribute to the country’s recovery as well
