Bugembe Amin, a victim of the Nansana hardware shooting that happened yesterday has succumbed to gun wounds and died this afternoon.

Bugembe was among the workers of Cheap hardware in Nansana which was attacked by gunmen at about 2: 30 pm.

In the attack, two people were shot dead on spot while others were injured.

The victims were rushed to Mulago hospital where Bugembe succumbed to injuries today.

According to a stament released by the KMP PRO Patrick Onyango, three suspected have so far been arrested to help with the investigations.

“The investigations are going on well and there are good leads that we are following, “ reads the final part of the statement.

The shooing has since left many residents living in fear.

The gun men are also said to have run away with an unknown amount of of money.

According to witnesses, the masked attackers cordoned off the hardware shop before opening fire on employees.

A witness identified as Mutesasira, says the attackers stormed the shop from a section that has no CCTV cameras to avoid being detected.

This brings the total number of the deceased to three.
