Ministry of Health has warned Ugandans that they risk being sent back into lockdown if people do not observe health guidelines in the fight against COVID-19.
Ministry was this evening launching the distribution drive of face masks nationwide. The masks are set to cost the taxpayer UGX 81 billion.
The distribution has started with border districts of Amoru, Busia, Kyotera ,Rakai, Adjumani and Tororo all of which have presented community cases of COVID-19.
Five companies today delivered 750,000 masks . The government is targeting 35 million Ugandans expected to receive mask.
