Luweero Bishop urges parents to take up religious grounding role
The Bishop of Luwero Diocese Rev. Canon Eldard Nsubuga Kironde has urged all schools to embrace the gospel of Christ and prioritize teaching learners the word of God to instil discipline in them. According to Nsubuga, a number of schools have experienced strikes and demonstrations which he attributes to indiscipline and lack of fear of God. He says God-fearing students cannot destroy any property at school, in the name of protest. He was at Janan SS Bombo conducting a confirmation service to students and also bidding farewell as he will retire from active God’s ministry come July 2023 when he will clock 65 years.
