Tanzanians vote new president on Wednesday
On Wednesday, 29 million registered voters will head to the polls to elect a President and Members of Parliament in hotly contested general elections in Tanzania. The election is being seen by many observers as a test of incumbent President John Pombe Magufuli's brand of politics which some have described as authoritarian. Magufuli is up against 14 other Presidential Candidates of whom the main contender is Tundu Lissu of the Chadema party.
