GRAIN SECTOR: Cimbria eyes UGX 248bn investment in Uganda grain plant and machinery
A UGX 248Bn project targeting grain cleaning and processing, silos and seed solutions among others has been launched in Uganda, targeting the greater north grain sub sector and government has through the investment minister offered the Danish firm a 10 year tax exemption. The state minister for agriculture Henry Agrey Bagire says the multipurpose industrial plant to be based in Gulu, if delivered should help reduce the country’s import bill on produce scubas wheat.
