After abandoning the Anglican church Okunya gets his wish
Rev. Charles Okunya has been consecrated and installed as the first Bishop of the Upper Nile Diocese for the Ref The consecration ended two and half years of speculation after he was stopped from becoming the third bishop of Kumi Church of Uganda diocese. Okunya and many of his followers opted out of Anglican Church and joined the reformed Anglican Church a breakaway sect. FDC president Patrick Amuriat Oboi challenged the new bishop to be a role model before donating 100 plastic chairs and one million shillings to the church.
