UPDF spokesman: We’re committed to end illegal arrests
The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence and the UPDF Brig. Felix Kulaigye says reforms are being undertaken to address public concerns over the misconduct of some of the security personnel. This follows the continuous outcry over some security agents who arrest people, usually at night and force them into Toyota Hiace (Hi-ass) mini-vans commonly known as Drones. Brig. Kulaigye made then comments while interacting with Journalists at Uganda Journalists Association offices in Kawempe, Kampala.
