Religious leaders have asked the President to consider signing assenting to the national health insurance scheme bill into law immediately, to enable more people to obtain affordable care. However, there are concerns that the law may have fundamental faults that are preventing the president from proceeding to sign it into law, weeks after parliament passed it.
