The Anti-Pornography committee has accepted singer Winnie Nwagi’s apology over her indecent and erotic acts while she was performing at St Mary’s College Kisubi(SMACK) with her dancers.

In an interview with our Live Wire reporter, the Chairperson Anti-Pornography committee, Dr Annette Kezaabu confirmed that Winnie Nwagi’s letter was received and her apology was accepted since she understood her mistake.

This comes after the ‘Musawo’ hitmaker posted a video on her social media page while she was erotically dancing with SMACK boys together with her dancers

The singer came out and apologized for her indecent and erotic dancing acts that the committee termed as pornographic and therefore contravened with the Anti-Pornographic Act 2014

On July 22nd, the Swangz Avenue management apologized on behalf of their artiste promising the public not to repeat such acts ever again. This was followed by Nwagi’s apology on Facebook that read;

“I always try to keep my fans entertained and sometimes I go overboard and my Smack performance was one of those. I should have done better and to all offended parties, am sorry”

Dr Kezaabu has now cautioned female artists to be cautious about their dress code and also mind the way they speak and dance while performing for the public.
