Deadly Coronavirus prevention measures by the Ministry of health

The Ministry of health has released statement providing basic information to the Public on the prevention of the transmission of the deadly coronavirus that has claimed the lives of people in China.
According to the Ministry, the standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include;
- Frequent cleaning of hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
- When coughing and sneezing cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissues (throw tissue away immediately in a bin and wash hands)
- Thoroughly cooking meat and eggs before consumption.
- Avoid crowded areas and hand shaking.
- Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
- If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early and share previous travel history with your health care provider.
- When visiting live markets in countries currently experiencing cases of novel coronavirus, avoid direct, unprotected contact with live animals and surfaces in contact with animals.
