The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Dr Stephen Kaziimba has urged Christians across the country to follow and advice all the health tips being offered in the fight against coronavirus that has claimed thousands of live and infected millions.
According to Dr Kaziimba, the public should adhere to all personal and corporate guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.
In a statement issued on Friday, Dr Kaziimba advises Ugandans to “make wise choices to keep healthy, practice good hygiene and follow the President and the Ministry of Health  advice to prevent spread of the virus"
"Do not ignore their good advice because you think that is the “spiritual thing to do.” No. We should not put the Lord our God to the test by neglecting what our elders have advised us to do," he said.
He also asked church leaders to sensitise members of the disease and called upon the church fraternity to pray for the country to be spared from the pandemic.
