The Government of Kenya has taken a decision to manufacture sanitisers and distribute them across the country for free in a bid to mitigate the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

The revelation was made in a statement released on Thursday morning.

“To this end, corporations in the oil industry have volunteered to produce alcohol based sanitisers for distribution for free to the general public.” reads part of the statement.

This after Kenya registered seven cases of the novel virus as it continues to spread across the world.

In the same spirit, Rwanda has also so far seven cases with one being a Ugandan.

Back in Uganda, Government has banned schools, bars and churches for the next 30 days as they continue to mentor the situation.
