Central region powerlifters step up training ahead of December competition

Central region powerlifters are intensifying preparations for this year’s regional competition, scheduled for December 7 at Better Shape Gym in Bulenga. The free-to-enter event is expected to attract strong competition from athletes who have been stepping up their training. The main sponsor, Better Shape Gym, has contributed 1 million shillings to be shared among the winners. Following the Northern Region qualifiers and the upcoming Western Region qualifiers on November 29, Powerlifting President Kenneth Sekiranda announced that the top performers from the Central and Eastern regions will also be invited to compete in a national championship later in December.
