Police Inspector gets 50 years for girl's murder
The High Court in Kampala has handed a 50-year jail sentence to Inspector of Police Emmanuel Wilson Abura after finding him guilty of killing a 9-year-old girl. Justice Margaret Mutonyi found Wilson guilty of strangling Patience Namwanjje after longstanding disputes between him and the girl's parents. The convict lived in a shared house with the girl's parents in Naalya Housing Estate.
