Nsambya hospital Laboratory Technologist, Ms Maria Nabayunga who was reported missing earlier this week, was on Wednesday evening found dumped at her sister’s door in Kansanga, a Kampala suburb.
Ms Nabayunga went missing and her family had not been in position to find her since last Thursday and her phone was off.

Ms Jane Nakanwagi a younger sister to Nabayunga told the Daily Monitor that she found her sister at her door steps on Wednesday evening moments after news of her suspected kidnap circulated. Ms Nakanwagi stays near the East African University in Kansanga.

“When I opened the door I found her at my door steps. She could hardly talk, she was dizzy because of chloroform. When asked I her who had brought her she did not know,” Ms Nakanwagi explained.
Ms Nakanwagi tried to inquire from neighbours whether they had seen anybody who had brought her sister, but neighbours said they had seen her walk to sister’s house alone.

When Ms Nakanwagi pressed Ms Nabayunga further to explain what had happened to her, she could only remember that on Easter Sunday she went to pray at Watoto Church (Former KPC) and after prayers she went to Nakasero market to buy food stuffs.

“While at Nakasero market she says some guy asked her for phone and since then she could not remember what happened after,” Ms Nakanwagi said. She later called her parents who came with police and took Ms Nabayunga to her home in Buziga from where they were expected to go to hospital.
The Administrator at Nsambya Hospital Ms C. Kizito also confirmed Ms Nabayunga had been found alive though unconscious.

“I have just received the news that she has been found just as we were trying to send out announcements,” Ms Kizito.
At the time of disappearance Ms Nabayunga had taken her annual leave which started on April 1 and is due to end on May 1.
