Fred Enanga replaces Emillian Kayima as police spokesperson in new police reshuffle

Commissioner Fred Enanga has bounced back as the Police Spokesperson in a new reshuffle replacing Emillian Kayima. The Inspector General of police, Martin Okoth Ochola made these changes on 12th January 2019.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Emillian Kayima who has held the position since November 2017 has been appointed in charge of publications.

Sources at Naguru Police headquarters state that CP Enanga will be deputized by Assistant commissioner, Polly Name.

Enanga who once held the position of police spokesperson was dropped along with his deputy Polly Namaye by former IGP, Kale Kayihura in 2016. He was then replaced by the later AIGP, Andrew Felix Kaweeso before who was assassinated in march 2017.

Other individuals that have been reshuffled include Kampala Metropolitan Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire who has now been appointed the Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Spokesperson. His position was given back to Superintendent Patrick Onyango who held the position before.
