Venezuelan woman arrested at Entebbe carrying Cocaine in her stomach

Aviation police in Entebbe are currently holding a 24-year-old Rodriguez Fegundez Doralys a Venezuelan woman allegedly for possession and trafficking of 114 packets of Cocaine weighing 1666 grams in her stomach.

According to Police, her arrest followed a information from intelligence on 17th that a passenger travelling from Brazil on Ethiopian airline flight to Addis Ababa heading to Nairobi changed her route to Entebbe and was suspected to be carrying Cocaine.

Upon arrival, the Aviation police and customs identified her but upon checking, nothing was found in her luggage, the police say they remained suspicious until she was taken for a scan that proved she had some cocaine in her stomach.

Since then she has under close monitoring for 4 days until her long calls in the toilet, she kept passing them out and a total of 114 pellets were discovered.

Luke Owesigyire the Kampala metropolitan spokesperson says upon interrogation, she revealed that she was transporting for someone in Uganda who was to pay her 2000 dollars.

According to police, the Venezuelan National will be charged with unlawful possession of necrotic drugs and trafficking.
