Constitution should not be amended without consulting Ugandans, says Katikiro Mayiga
Mayiga made these remarks while addressing the kingdom’s legislature or Lukiiko at Bulange in Mengo.

The Prime Minister of Buganda kingdom, Charles Peter Mayiga, has called for unity among Members of Parliament especially during this period when parliament wants to amend article 102B of the constitution with the view of removing the presidential age limit.

Mayiga has called the constitution a national covenant, which should not be amended without extensive consultations with the citizens of Uganda.

Mayiga made these remarks while addressing the kingdom’s legislature or Lukiiko at Bulange in Mengo.
